No voluntary returns or exchanges
Our products are printed or made after you order. Except where applicable law requires otherwise, all sales are final: we do not accept change-of-mind returns, size or colour exchanges, or cancellations once production begins. Check the measurements, selected options and delivery address before ordering. Contact us immediately about a cancellation or change; we will check whether production can still be stopped, without guaranteeing that it can.
Faulty, damaged or incorrect items
If your order arrives damaged, misprinted, defective or different from what you ordered, contact contact@vowmourn.com with your order number and a description. Please provide clear photos where reasonably available. Report issues promptly, preferably within 30 days of receipt, to help us resolve supplier claims. This is not a deadline that limits statutory guarantees or other mandatory remedies. We will provide the repair, replacement, price reduction or refund required by applicable law. We cover necessary return costs for a valid defective or incorrect-item claim where required.
Mandatory cancellation rights
Nothing in this policy excludes non-waivable consumer rights. Where a statutory cooling-off right applies, including to eligible standard products sold to EU/EEA or UK consumers, you may notify us of withdrawal within 14 days after receiving the goods, or the longer period required by law. For goods delivered separately, the applicable statutory receipt rule applies. Standard catalogue designs are not treated as personalised solely because they are printed after purchase. An exception for genuinely personalised goods applies only where the legal requirements for that exception are met.
To withdraw, send a clear statement to contact@vowmourn.com identifying the order and your decision to cancel. No special form, prior approval or reason is required for a valid statutory withdrawal. You may use: “I give notice that I withdraw from my contract for [goods], ordered on [date], received on [date]. Name: [name]. Address: [address]. Date: [date].” A paper notice should also include your signature.
Conditions for statutory returns
Where the law allows us to require it, send the goods back within 14 days after notifying us. You are responsible for the direct return-postage cost for a change-of-mind statutory withdrawal; we do not provide prepaid labels for those returns. This does not apply when we must bear the cost under law. Contact us for the correct return destination and instructions. Our registered office and the fulfilment address printed on a package must not be used without confirmation. Requesting instructions does not replace or delay your statutory notice deadline.
You may inspect goods as you would in a shop. Where law permits, we may deduct proven diminished value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning. Please keep labels and packaging where possible. We do not make original packaging, unused condition or an undisclosed restocking fee an unlawful condition of a statutory refund. Ordinary wear, washing or damage beyond inspection may reduce the refund to the extent permitted by law.
Refund timing
For a valid EU/EEA or UK statutory withdrawal, we reimburse amounts required by law, including the least expensive standard outbound delivery charge, within 14 days after notification. Where permitted, we may withhold reimbursement until the goods are received or you supply evidence of return, whichever is earlier. Additional premium-delivery costs need not be reimbursed where law allows. Refunds use the original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise without a fee. Payment-provider processing time may follow. Other mandatory refund rights and deadlines take priority.
